In view of the corona transition, UP Government has issued an order to postpone the entire process of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2020. The new exam date and schedule will be released later.

The Office of the Examination Regulatory Authority had sent a proposal to the government to postpone the UPTET process, which has been approved. This examination was proposed on 25 July.

The number of applicants for this examination is estimated to be around one million. Therefore, it is important to protect the applicant and their family during a corona infection.

The institution conducting primary level examinations has to postpone two important examinations in two months. This came about because the government delayed granting permission in both cases.

The examination institution had sent the proposals on time, but they kept waiting for long permission. However, both exams have been postponed due to different reasons.

Now only when the conditions are normal, the dates of both the exams will be decided afresh.

Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority's office had sent a proposal to conduct Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2020 in the month of February itself, but the seal could be approved on March 15 after about a month.

In the same way, the written examination of 1894 posts of Principal and Assistant Teacher was proposed to be held on April 18 in more than three thousand non-government aided junior high schools of the state.

Its applications had been done, but due to the three-tier gram panchayat elections on the second day of the examination, the examination had to be postponed a few days in advance, as DMs of many districts had expressed their inability to test.
