A Big Shock Magnitude 4.0 Earthquake At Indo-Nepal Border

A magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck Sikkim on Friday morning near the Nepal-India border. According to the NCS, the earthquake struck near the Nepal-India border in Sikkim at 343 am today.

No casualties or property damage was reported due to the earthquake.

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said a magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck Sikkim on Friday morning near the Nepal-India border. According to the NCS, the earthquake occurred near the Nepal-India border in Sikkim at 3:43 am today.

At present, no casualty or property damage has been reported due to the earthquake.

A 4.8 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale occurred near Yuksom in Sikkim a day earlier. No damage was reported in the earthquake that occurred on the previous day.

Why do Earthquakes occur?
